Siemens Healthineers, Philips awarded ARPA-H funds for stroke robots

Siemens Healthineers and Philips have been awarded federal funding through ARPA-H to develop autonomous mechanical thrombectomy robots for faster stroke treatment. Several organizations will share up to $175.3 million in total funding for this medical device development initiative.
