Right to Repair Lawsuit Filed in Texas

A lawsuit (Shannon v. Philips North America LLC, Case No. 3:26-cv-01276-B-BW) has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas claiming that restrictions on Philips MR scanner software are illegal because they prevent independent service organizations (ISOs) from servicing diagnostic imaging devices.
