RALE score accurately identifies ARDS on chest x-rays

The RALE score, a semi-quantitative system developed in 2018, was validated for accurately quantifying the extent and density of pulmonary edema on chest x-rays for ARDS identification. This standardized scoring approach may improve diagnostic consistency in acute respiratory distress assessment.
