Epic debuts instant prior authorization checks at 4 health systems

Epic has launched a new application programming interface for instant prior authorization checks, with initial adoption at Ochsner Health, Froedtert ThedaCare Health, Denver Health, and Summit Health. The tool is designed to speed up preapprovals for medical items and services.
